My condolences to Glen’s family. I always enjoyed visiting with Glen when He came with Anna to the store. His sense of humour was so fun! He wrote us a letter one winter while in Arizona on Anna’s behalf, describing her activities from his perspective, we all read it at the store and howled with laughter. He will be missed.

Please accept our deepest condolences for your loss. Wayne, Shawna, Parker & Jasper Nelson
The memory that comes to mind of "Uncle Glen" for me is of the time he stayed in Edmonton for a few days and needed a room. My room as it turned out, and as I was maybe 19 at the time it was adorned with more than a few posters of my favourite rock band. At the end of that stay Uncle Glen left behind a great gift to add to my wall collection (which was a wonderful gesture), but what really stayed with me was how much I enjoyed that one-on-one time with him. I liked how he smiled when he spoke, and how when he listened he did so without judgement. I felt like I had a new friend after that stay and always looked forward to opportunities to see Uncle Glen in the years that followed. He was a true gentleman and will be missed.
