My deepest condolences to the family on the passing of Sophi. I loved her so much she was like a second grandma to me. She was a great nabor and friend. I would always go there to see if she needed help with her garden or simpli just to have tea and squares with her. She always had something ready to go if people was to come over. She will be greatly missed.

Our deepest condolences to Jerry Sych (Ariadne Richardson) and their family. Mrs. Sych was a wonderful lady. Always enjoyed seeing her in Camrose especially during the Jamboree times with the endless awesome perogies she always enjoyed making for everyone. Her amazing garden was always a pleasure to walk thru as well. Always joyful and big smiles on her face. She will be truly be missed.

Sophie's kindness was truly a gift to us all. Her beautiful smile lit up the room. We have such wonderful memories of going to the farm to visit Sophie and Henry and the Camrose visits were always a delight with family and friends. Those wonderful meals and desserts. We had a lot of fun. Sophie was a great friend to our family and we will miss her very much. Our sincere condolences to the entire family.
Love and prayers are with you all.

We first met Sophie at the horticulture club and continued to get to know/meet her at ecumenical church events and fun events in town such as the air show, railway station, perogy lunches, etc. She was always pleasant and friendly ~ a pleasure to be around! Always smiling and a nice word to say. We will miss Sophie. She was a beautiful spirit!

My sisters and I will miss Sophie - every time our mom Darlene (Smith) Jean would go “down home” to the Camrose area, we’d always need to stop in for coffee. Both Sophie and Henry were pleasures to be around. And I especially love how Sophie always seemed to have desserts available from the freezer. My blessings to all, Jacinte Jean (daughter of Darlene and Henry Jean, granddaughter of Carl and Geeta Smith, who were neighbors in Bittern Lake) from San Diego, CA
