Rodney John May

(November 15, 1930 - August 15, 2021)

Rodney John May of Camrose, Alberta, formerly of Daysland, passed away on Sunday, August 15, 2021 at the age of 90 years.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife Mary; children Jackie (Dennis) Olsen of Camrose, Pat Horton of Camrose, Neil (Betty) May of Pigeon Lake, Danny (Kari) May of Grande Prairie, Susan Goudreau of Camrose, Lauri (Dallas) Sargeant of Camrose; fourteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and sister Dorothy Bussy of Stettler. 

Rodney was predeceased by his parents Ernie and Katie; sister Gladys McKinnon; brother Clayton May; and brothers-in-law Alex McKinnon and John Bussy.
 

His funeral was held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 20, 2021 from the St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church, 3605 50 St Camrose with Rev. Danial DSouza as celebrant. Prayers were held at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, August 19 at the St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church.

If family and friends so desire, memorial contributions in Rodney's memory may be made to the Camrose Hospice Society or the St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church building fund.
