We have a great memory of a chance meeting with Verne several years ago on the Alberta Prairie Railway train. It was a beautiful fall day and we all had a great time.Verne had a great smile and we send condolences to all his family. Harry & Myrna Mauer.

To the King Family. My deepest sympathy on the death of your Dad, Verne. I was shocked today at the seniors centre playing cribbage when I heard. He was there with us last Friday playing cards. I was so glad to see him and Yvonne here when I moved to Camrose. They were always a happy couple and I know he missed Yvonne since she entered extended care. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Sincerely Charlotte Golka
