Dorothy was my piano teacher from 1978-1989 and instilled a love of piano and music. I am proud to say I have been a piano teacher in Montreal for the past 25 years. She will always been fondly remembered.

Dorothy was my piano teacher for a good 5 years or so. During that time she taught me way more than piano though, she taught me how to smile through tough times and keep reaching for the stars even if the sun was out.
She was a star herself, and it breaks my human heart to know her body will no longer be with us. But it gives me happiness that her spirit lives on, as she told me it always would.
Thank you for the wonderful memories and lessons I'll always remember. <3

Dear Alan, Christine and extended family,
I'm so saddened to hear of Dorothy's passing. As you know your mom was a very special person.
I was one of her students. I only got to know her for a short time through my accordian lessons. Her love for teaching and playing was evident. I won't play the accordian as well as her, but she rekindled that spark in me to continue plunking away. I will miss her and hope that you will take comfort in God's loving care.

Dorothy was my piano teacher over 50 years ago and I know that she was still teaching in her 80's. It is amazing to think of how many students she shared her love of music with. What a gift she was to our community!
