Ray was so much to so many….and the Town of Sedgewick rarely saw an advocate as great as Ray Pottage. Always at work in the background….a book could be written on his work for the betterment of this community. As a friend of mine…Ray was a mentor, a brother, a guiding force…and I will always remember him with the love and respect knowing that he made a real positive difference in my life…and I am sure there are many who could say the same. This world is so greatly diminished by his loss…and such a loss might be overwhelming…if our world wasn’t so richly blessed in so many ways for his having been here. Rest In Peace, Ray. Good men such as you will be sorely missed.
