I have great memories of my 20'es when Pete, Roger, and myself (Bare) all lived in an apartment in Edmonton.
Pete and I played hockey in the winter and golf in the summer.
Pete and I went golfing on June 22, 1969, and I was lucky that day with a hole in 1 on the 2nd hole (165 yds) at Broadmore Golf Club. Pete Signed my card as a witness and help me pay for the drinks at the clubhouse. (Still have the small trophy in my office)
Weekends were always fun and usually required a beer or 20.
Gloria and I moved to Grande Prairie in 1970 and we lost touch with Pete and Mary Ann for many years until Pete started calling us a Christmas about 10 years ago.
Pete and I often chatted about getting one last game of golf in together, with Bare's rule he was not allowed to use his 4 Iron. (his go to club) so I would have a chance to beat him. The Golf game never happened which is sad for both of us.
Wished we had stayed in touch more often over these past many years.
I am sure Pete agrees with me in suggesting to all others to stay in touch with your close friends for a happier life.
Gloria and I wish you all the best in the future Mary Ann and all your family.
