A year has passed, so slow but so fast, I think of you often. I was out today in the sun working on my flowerbed, oh you had such beautiful flowers in your yard. As I am sitting on my front step, see you laughing and saying “hi” as your neighbours walk by as you sip your coffee at your front step table. Saw my grandkids today , I miss your phone calls on the latest updates on those beautiful kids that call you Grandma. Miss you Annette, a beautiful sister (in-law). ❤️

Hello Jan and Nowakowski family. I’m so sorry to learn of Annette’s passing and I’m sure you are all devastated. Because Annette was such a huge light in the world. Her obit refers to her kindness and that is exactly what comes to mind for me. We went to high school together and though many years have passed. Since then, Annette always had a huge smile and always expressed genuine concern for and interest in the well being of both my mother and I whenever our paths crossed over the years. Our condolences and deepest sympathies to Annette's family. We have very fond memories of Annette when she was a "friendly visitor" visiting our mother Melida Reutter at Bethany Long Term Care Centre some twenty years ago. Annette was so attentive to our mother's needs and wants, as she faithfully visited and 'brightened Mom's days. Mom always looked forward to Annette's visits, and as a family we also greatly appreciated her kind and caring ways. She was a very special person.
