Nellie Anna Finnell

(February 16, 1937 - May 8, 2022)

 

Nellie Anna Finnell of Camrose, AB, formerly of Ponoka, AB, passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2022, at the age of 85 years.

 

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters Bonnie (Tim) Johnson of Jacksonville, North Carolina, and Barbara Finnell (Randy Ressler) of Camrose; grandchildren Ryan (Rianne), Ashley (Devin), Toni (Rob), Brad (Nicole), and Shana; three great-granddaughters; siblings Elizabeth Baird of Walla Walla, Washington, Peter (Cindy) Dykstra of Chehalis, Washington, and Bert Beck of Huntington Beach, California.

 

Nellie was predeceased by her parents Henry and Elizabeth Dykstra.

 

The family is holding a funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at the Ponoka United Church (5020 52 Ave).


If family and friends so desire, memorial contributions in Nellie's memory may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
