I had originally met Dan in Walmart at the cellphone kiosk. He started to talk to me about his life and how much he walked every day! I remember him as being a wonderful person to talk to with a very inviting smile. We got to know each other while I helped him with his phone and fit bit.
Every day he would stop by and show me how many km he put on and tell me about up coming visits with family. It was always a joy to talk to Dan. I'm so very sorry for the loss, he was a wonderful man.

My deepest sympathy to the family, Dan was one of my favorite people. We always talked when he would walk by my house everyday. We put a fence up and we always joked about how we needed the bell so he could use his cane to ring it and let us know he was coming by. When he told me they were moving to the other end of town I was a little sad and thought I would not get to have our chit chats and would only see him walking. Well to my surprise he walked in to were I work almost every other day, him and his wife. So I was so so happy we would get to chat again. You truly had an amazing husband and father, I just loved him so dear. We gave him a nick name (wheels) cause of all the miles he put on. Sending my hugs to you all. Robbyn Thompson ❤️

To all of Dans family we offer our hugs and condolences to you. When Dan lived in Daysland we got to work for and visit with him many times as he did his walks. An honest good human being. Had a few chats with him at Timmies in Camrose. Rest well my friend. Ron and Eilene Damberger
