Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Kathleen, Craig, Leah, and Kendra. May wonderful memories comfort you. We will always remember Alvin as a quiet and kind man. He always had a smile on his face and twinkle in his eyes when he saw you. We so enjoyed our visits to Canada. Alvin always took time from his schedule to visit with us and take us to tour the coal mine, his acreage and show us his cattle (the steaks were delicious). He loved his John Deere tractors and we can remember a pull type combine he had at one time, which we had never seen in Minnesota. Alvin was always interested in the crops we raised and how the prices compared. He was so proud of his homestead, garden, and most of all you, his family. You were such good caregivers. Our Loesch family lost a wonderful man. We wish we could be there for the celebration of his life. We will be thinking of you.
