Jack’s passing has left a big hole in the hearts of those who knew him. He reached out to people with a warm “Hi, how are you? Which was followed by a firm welcoming handshake. May our many fond memories of Jack help us heal, over time, the pain of his loss.

Dee, Jamie and Michael, and your families--I'm so sorry for your loss. Jack's passing leaves a big hole in your hearts, and in the hearts of us. May your hearts be filled with your memories of all that was good and wonderful about him. I remember his great care for the church building, and his warm welcome to all who came there on Sundays and every day, his strong hugs, his love of toast and peanut butter, his gentle humour when I took things too seriously, his commitment and practical suggestions at Property Committee meetings, his willingness to help me whenever I asked, and his personal support during the time when I was quite ill and had surgery. I'm so glad to have known him. It was both an honour and a pleasure to have worked with him. I regret that I'm unable to be there at the celebration of his life. So sorry, he was such a great person, and he will be dearly missed. Whenever I met Jack or went to church, I always got a big hug. Our church will not be the same. He was so very kind and understanding. May he Rest In Peace. With our most sincere sympathy Doug Wold and Donna Smith.

I had the blessing of working with Jack these last few years. He was a great man, always made you feel welcome, would do anything for you, had a way about him that demonstrated how one should really live their life. Will miss him in huge ways. Jaimy, Mike you had a great father, and I was blessed to have him in my world.

We are all saddened to hear of Jack’s passing. All of my kids road his bus, and he was always so kind to them. Jack never failed to brighten the morning when he popped into the school office to say hello. He was one of the nicest people I ever had the pleasure of knowing. Our very sincere condolences to the loved ones he leaves behind.
