Tom, You were one of the most influential people in my life. I came to you when I had doubts about myself, and you were there to help me through these doubts. After losing my dad in 2012, you were the first person I spoke to, and you took me under your wing and helped me through the pain and anguish I was going through. The stories you told and the smile on your face will forever be cherished in my memories. You helped mold me into the person I am today, and for that, I am forever thankful. I still remember the day that I told you I asked the love of my life to marry me, and I saw the tear form in your eye because you were so happy and proud of my growth. The first day I met you, I was only 12 years old, and you were the Sergeant of Arms with the Legion, and I was part of the Cadet Corps Flag Party. I told you about my dream of what I wanted to accomplish while part of the Cadets and that one day I wanted to become a Flag Party Commander in the Cadet Corps. You took me aside whenever you saw me and gave me pointers and tips. You taught me everything you knew, and four years later I became the Flag Party Commander and was able to present the Corps with pride and stand beside you at events. I saw the pride in your eyes and voice, and I will live with that moment forever. I will never forget what you did for me. Thank you for everything. Until we meet again, My Friend, My Confidant, My Comrade. For One Last Time, Stand At Easy Soldier, You Have Completed Your Mission. Until we meet again...

Brenda and Marlene! We were saddened and shocked to hear of your Dads passing. So sorry we didn't know about his passing or his funeral. We would most certainly have been there. As you know your Mom was my cousin and we have known your Dad for almost that long. What a great guy, always concerned about your Mom. I don't know if you knew that my husband Bob was in Army cadets and reserve and Tom was his commander. Bob talks about him a lot. Although we hadn't seen him since your Moms funeral we will miss the times spent with him. He will be missed and remembered !!

Oh Tom, you will be so missed. I will miss our conversations and the many stories you always took time to tell. You always had a smile on your face when you saw “ your girls “ as you called us, when you came into the grocery store. Rest easy my friend

I met Tom & Vi when they looked after an apartment building where my aunt lived. They were so conscientious and caring for all the residents. Tom was a fine man who was an example to the rest of us as to how we all should be in this life. Rest in peace.
