Hello Melanie and Desmond,
Jim was just reflecting on the number of Christmas’ or New Years that our families gathered together in Lacombe and Rocky Mountain with your Mother, Uncle Ken, Aunt Madeline and Don. These were good memories of your Mom and family. It is sad that over the years we loose contact, not sure that there is a good excuse for that but maybe a lesson to be learned as time marches on. Delores and I always remember the good times that we had shared with your Mom and Dad and their hospitality.
Sorry we are unable to attend the service but our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of grief.

Mel so sorry to hear about your mom, I remember meeting her when you came to set up your room in Hay Lakes. She was all smiles and had such a positive outlook. Hang on to all those great memories!

I send my condolences, your mom became my closest friend we both got to Bashaw Medowes the same day. We spent a lot of time together. She was so porous of you and Desmond. She always blessed me every day I saw her. Her faith helped me to grow stronger with my faith. I miss her every day. Give your self and Desmond the time to greve. God bless, miss my friend.

Melanie I can only smile when I think of your mom (and dad). I remember so well all the support and encouragement they gave to you as you entered Grade One at Chester Ronning - and also to me as your teacher. Always your biggest fans, whenever I saw your parents around town and enquired about what you were up to, they were more than pleased to fill me in on your latest activities … especially your mom ‘with girl chat’ about you. Unfortunately I will be not be able to attend your mom’s service, but I will be celebrating her wonderful spirit along with so many others. Hi Mel and Des
Margaret was a bright light in my life. Most recently I enjoyed a friendly visit with her while visiting at Bashaw Meadows. She was quick to tell her friends how long she had known me and what our friendship meant to her.
Earth won't be the same without her, and heaven won't be the same now that she's home!

Melanie, we are so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. You, and your Mom and Dad were the best neighbours to my parents, Marven and Florence for so many years. Mom thought of you as her own granddaughter.

Melanie we are so sorry to hear of the loss of your Mom. I know she was related to my husband's mother somehow but I really I am not sure how. She was such a friendly soul and always had that big smile on her face. She will be missed.
