My dearest Pauline, I was devastated and saddened to hear that Russ died suddenly and as you know I am in the USA and deeply sorry I am not there to stand beside you through this sadness. Russ was such a kind and wonderful man and from being around you I know he made you happy and cared deeply for both families, he will be missed.
You are one of the strongest women I know and you will get through this with the help of family, friends and your faith. Stand tall and cherish all the wonderful memories you hold dear to your heart. I love you and will watch the service on Saturday. Know that I am thinking of you and praying that you will be that strong wonderful woman I know you are.
