Dear Tamara, James and family
Our sincere condolences on your tremendous loss. I (Pam) really enjoyed having Nathan in my class at Augustana, and talking with him when we'd come across each other while we were out on the trails walking Charlie and Carmel. Nathan was so interested in the outdoor projects we were doing in class, and had great questions and observations. It was a pleasure to interact with him.
We are thinking of you at this very difficult time as you journey through grief, mourning, and reflecting on Nathan's life. He was obviously much loved and respected by his friends and family.
Best wishes,
Pam Stacey and Glen Hvenegaard

Tamara, I was so sad to hear of the passing of your son Nathan. From the comments at the service, I can feel that he lived life to the fullest even though that life was short. He sounded like an amazing young man who faced challenges and successes in his life. Although we can never understand the reasons a life is ended as suddenly and unexpectedly as his was, we have the hope we will meet again in our next life. The memories in our hearts keep the love alive until that happens. Blessing and prayers for you and your family. Take Care. Colleen D.

So sorry Tamara and James for the loss of Nathan. Nathan will always hold a special place in my heart. During the Sea Serpents time, his kindness always shone. Ryley had an admiration of him. He was a role model to the young swimmers and his peers. Everything he did he put his whole heart into. May he rest in peace and look above your family. Celebrate his life everyday. Our love goes out to your family.
Lisa and Ryley Winters.

Tamara and James, I cannot understand why this is happening or why Nathan needed to leave. I suppose that is not for us to know yet. I can’t thank you enough for raising such a sweet and kind man. He was such a special friend to Breanna. How amazing to still be friends in such an amazing group of kids, ten years after high school. Such a tribute to how wonderful this special group is. Nathan was no exception, so loved. He will not be forgotten. Much love and respect. - Theia
