David Kenneth Rurka

(November 28, 1938 - May 4, 2023)

David Kenneth Rurka of Camrose, Alberta, formerly of Edmonton, passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at the age of 84 years.

David is survived by his wife Lucille; his children Michelle (David) Banszky, Denise (Trevor) Glover, and Karen (Stuart) Pritchard; grandchildren Christopher, Constance, Steven, Samanatha, Ian and Evan; and great-grandchildren Grace, Lincoln, Brooklyn, Addilyn, Harper, and Olivia.  

He was predeceased by his daughter Carleen; parents Mary and John Rurka; and great-grandchild Chase. 

A Funeral Liturgy was held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 13, 2023 from the Burgar Memorial Chapel, 4817 - 51 Avenue Camrose with Deacon Doug Tien as celebrant. 

If family and friends so desire, memorial contributions in David's memory may be made to St. Mary's Palliative Care, or to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No.57.
