Sam and Carter have known each other since playschool, but their friendship truly emerged I think in about grade 2.
I have many fond memories of giggling boys in my basement, Saturday mornings after a sleepover, with them smiling and laughing at the kitchen table. Jason making Carter laugh from bugging Sam when he stayed for supper sometimes.
Sam burning through a set of bicycle tires from those two riding around town and doing skids.
A fond memory of Sam when they were maybe 7 or 8 calling him “Carter, Carter Barrie”. Can “Carter, Carter Barrie” come over?
Incase there was a question of us not knowing who he meant.
They were attached at the hip for many years.
I’m so thankful he was a part of Sam’s life.

Carter was one of the first children, at my Dayhome in Bawlf, who stole my heart. His laugh, and smile were infectious. Nanny has so much love for you Carter & I am at a loss for words, to describe the heartbreak of hearing this news. I pray that Amanda, Rob & Haydyn are able to find comfort & peace.
