Rest in peace my friend. I always remember your smile and kind nature at our curling games during our High School years. It was always good to catch up with you at your family's business when my father and I would stop in for the famous bratwurst and Christmas sausage.

So sad to hear of Rob's passing. My favorite memory of Rob is the time he drove myself (and truly I cannot remember who the other person was...?) to Westmount Theatre in 1979 to go see GREASE. We so loved the movie but came out to find his white van had been broken into and my purse stolen...ok so maybe that wasn't a great memory but the overall experience was. RIP knowing you brought joy and laughter to my high school years as I'm sure you did for others also.

I met Robbie at Big Valley Jamboree, he was always welcoming and happy! He in future years welcomed me to stay at his home for BVJ, he was an amazing host. I was messaging him two weeks ago about us missing BVJ this year. He said, this is the first one in 30 years that I haven’t gone to. He was a die hard friend. He will be missed by us here, but he will be celebrated by the ones in heaven that went before him!

Condolences to Family and Friends. It was a shock to hear this special friend had passed. We just had lunch about a month ago. Robbie was a very special Man who always considered others. We had so many good times always laughing and joking. We bonded while working at Home Hardware where we always kept it light and fun. We liked the same TV shows and would frequently do a review of what happened. We always greeted each other with "Morning Brotha". I will miss you and think about you all the time.

I had the privilege of working alongside Rob at Camrose and Ponoka Weightwatchers. I know many members were welcomed by Rob each week as they came for check in, and he would cheer them on and he made many feel comfortable at what sometimes could be a challenging time for them. I will certainly miss his giggle and humor, and his homemade pickles!! I was lucky enough to get his recipe last summer for these and will always strive to get mine to taste as good as his did.
