Obituary of Adam Keith Leibel

Adam Keith Leibel

(November 10, 1991 - November 12, 2023)

Adam Keith Leibel was born in Camrose on November 10, 1991 to Sheila (Wilson) and Keith Leibel. He was their first son, the second born after his sister Rochelle and the last grandchild of eleven to be born on both sides.

He was born and raised in Camrose and attended all his years of schooling there. He met his wife, Ashley in Camrose through a mutual friend and they were married on August 8, 2015. They lived on an acreage by Bawlf and moved to Camrose in 2018. They welcomed their son, Walker in 2022. They just recently purchased, what was to be their forever home, in 2023.

Adam was a vital part of the Wenig Farm operations and farmed with his father-in-law for the past thirteen years. Adam got his class 1 license and loved to drive trucks and big equipment. He followed his driving passion throughout his career which took him all over Canada and into the United States.
His most recent career took him into the world of truck dispatching and managing with Road to Rail Construction. This career allowed him to be home more often to do the job he loved the most, which was to be a dad.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Ashley; son Walker; father Keith Leibel; mother Sheila Wilson; step-mother Janet Chaney; siblings Rochelle (Cam) Birkheim, Kayla Wenig (Matt Reber), and Connor Wenig; parents-in-law Shane and Cathy Wenig; grandma Milligan, grandma Leibel, grandpa Wilson, grandma Joyce Wenig, grandparents Sylvia and Len Frankson; nieces and nephews Evelyn and Iris Birkheim, Memphis, Brodie and Dallas Reber; and numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Adam was predeceased by his stepfather Woody Heikamp; and grandfathers Sebastian Leibel, Bill Milligan, and Lorenz Wenig. Memorial donations in Adam’s memory will be announced later.

Adam was taken from his loved ones suddenly on November 12, 2023. Adam was an organ donor and has already saved or helped thirty other lives.
