Dear Lorne and family
I'm so sorry for your loss.
Cindy was an incredible woman. A powerhouse. A person not to be messed with. She was a woman who showed me what it was like to use her voice. She showed me how to be strong. She showed me laughter. She showed me kindness. She showed me love. I will miss her. But I will carry those pieces with me forever because her imprint was lasting.
I will remember her for her love of animals, photography and her family.
Sending you love and strength in this time.
Marisa Hemmes

I am so sad to hear the news, I don't know how I missed it, but I hearing it now has shaken me. Cindy, your heart was so huge, you loved so deeply. I will never forget the great honor you blessed me with when you thought of me as the right human for our little Bozzley. He reminds me every day of you and how much love you had for all the animals in your life. Be at peace my friend, you will be missed.

Our deepest sympathies to Lorne and Cindy’s family. Cindy held a special place in our hearts. Her laughter, the stories she used to tell, the crafts she used to make and her kindness will always be remembered with fondness. We hope the memories will bring some light to you all during these difficult times.
