I am saddened to see the passing of an old schoolmate, Harold. We attended Bawlf School together for many years and graduated Grade 12 together. We had a small class so we knew each other well. Although I haven’t seen Harold since then, I do remember what a nice person he was. He always managed to be likeable while staying out of trouble! Always smiling. May he rest in peace.
Condolences to the family.

Harold was a colleague of mine at Augustana from when I started there in 1984 until his retirement. I loved his extraordinary wit, broad erudition, cheery disposition, and the puns he loved to deliver. I will miss him. Attending his funeral on March 9 was a nostalgic and marvellous walk down memory lane. I leave my deepest condences to Gail, Chris, Ben, and the rest of his wonderful family.

We have been neighbours with Harold and Gail for the past seven and a half years. Harold became so special to all of us through the time we’ve spent with him. His cheery smile and waves on his walks would always make our day. We loved chatting with him and sharing stories. Harold was kind, authentic, smart, and an all round incredible human being.
At christmas time the kids and I took him some cookies and a card but he wasn’t able to come to the door. After talking with Gail we peeked around the living room window and he was sitting in his chair. The kids started waving at him, and he stood up, the biggest smile on his face, waving and smiling. I’ll hold that moment in my heart forever.
We loved you Harold and we miss you. We are so blessed to have known you. Our deepest condolences to Gail and his beloved family.

I was so sorry to read of Mr. Bjorge's passing. I worked at CLC/Augustana as the receptionist in Old Main. Harold always brought a sense of joy with him whenever he would pass by on his way to his office upstairs. Sending sincere condolences to the family.

Mr Bjorge was a wonderful, engaging teacher. He made learning French a joy. It was my first introduction to the subject in Grade 12 at CLC and from there I too wanted to experience the immersion into French culture as Mr Bjorge had done. I will always remember the sound of his voice asking " People, people, would you like me to write this on the board for you?" Oui, merci!
Sympathies to his wife and children. You will surely miss him until you are reunited in heaven.
Blessings,

I was a French 200 student in the 80's. Mr. Bjorge was such fun. We learned to love the language because we loved learning with him. When we had labs in Hoyme, we sometimes brought popcorn and once we were fortunate enough to meet Mr. Bjorge's son. Such a wonderful, caring teacher!
