Joseph Frank Fellner of Camrose, formerly of Ohaton, passed away Thursday, August 14, 2014 at the age of 93 years.
Joe was born on the family farm at Khedive, Saskatchewan on April 24, 1921 to Peter and Maria Fellner. He passed away peacefully on August 14, 2014 at the Louise Jensen Care Centre surrounded by the love and compassion of his devoted family.
Joe was predeceased by his first love - wife Mary; his parents; four brothers; three sisters; numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
His love and memory will live on and be forever remembered and cherished by his daughter Cindy (Dale) Congdon; son Michael (Kim) Fellner; devoted wife Mary and her son Kevin Pattie; step-son John (Linda) Hutnan; grandchildren Derek (Tara) Schneider, Tanya (Rodney) Hollman, Kristen Schneider, Cody Congdon, Rhianna Congdon, Karlee Fellner, Shelby Fellner, Landyn Fellner; and great-grandchildren Jessalyn and Mason Schneider, Wacey, Keston, and Chayse Hollman.
A Funeral Service was held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 23, 2014 from Camrose United Church with Rev. Liz Carter-Morgan officiating. Cremation has taken place.
If family and friends so desire, memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to Alzheimer Society of Alberta, or to the Louise Jensen Care Centre.
