Harry Vernon Collin of Camrose, formerly of Donalda passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2014 at the age of 83 years. Harry was born on the family farm north of Donalda, April 23, 1931. He spent most of his life on the farm. He took his schooling at Norbo and went to CLBI for one winter term. Harry and Anna were married August 20, 1958. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Anna; his children Rod (Leisa Robinson-Collin) of Haines Jct., Yukon, Dorothy (Curtis) Rude of Chilliwack, B.C., and Christine (Bruce) Mortensen of Penticton; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; two sisters Doris (Norman) Radke of Camrose, and Florence Johnson of Camrose. Harry was predeceased by his parents; one brother, two sisters, one brother-in-law, one sister-in-law. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. from the Bethany Lutheran Church Donalda with Rev. Garfield Vikse officiating. Interment followed in the Bethany Lutheran Church Cemetery Donalda. Memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to CLBI, Bethany Lutheran Cemetery Donalda, or to the charity of one's choice.
