Obituary of May Neuman
Please share a memory of May to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
May Neuman of Calgary, formerly of Camrose, passed away on Thursday October 2, 2014 at the age of 85 years. Left to cherish her memory are her children Ron Neuman (Jaun Harrow) of Red Deer, Cheryl (Pete) Holm of Three Hills, and Todd (Shawneen) Neuman of Calgary; eleven grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.
May was predeceased by two brothers Harold MacDonald and Sterling MacDonald; and the father of her children Alvin Neuman.
May lived in Camrose for 40 years where she worked at Bethany Care Centre in the administrative office until her retirement. May moved to Calgary in 2010. May loved to bake, do needle work and raised and groomed poodles in her spare time. During her retirement May enjoyed spending time with her friends, including coffee time at Tim Horton's or walking around the pond. Once she moved to Calgary the care workers at the lodge had to add an extra supervisor to the daily walks - one to be with the rest of the pack and one to keep up to May.
A Funeral Service was held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 7, 2014 from Century Meadows Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Morris officiating. Interment has taken place in the Century Meadows Cemetery.
