I am so sorry for your loss. I have visited with Vern for almost 10 years and enjoyed his stories especially of his children. I had even looked after his Mother Kathleen years ago in old Hawthorn and shared stories with him of her 'flashing, piercing eyes'. He was a lovely man and I will miss him too.
