I knew Joyce through a mutual friend who lived in the same apartment in Camrose. I didn't know her too well but every encounter I had with her, she greeted me with a smile and kindness. I still miss the smell of baked goodies coming from her suite when I visited my friend who lived on the top floor. My condolences to her family and friends. RIP Joyce

I used to live in the same apartment building as Joyce, in Camrose. She was always so kind, pleasant & friendly. Such a wonderful person. So glad I had the chance to know her. R.I.P.

My condolences to the Germanick family. I'm deeply sadden to find out our sweet former neighbor had passed away. Joyce was a lovable person who had a heart of gold. She made the best waffle suppers ever and had cooked for us on the odd sunday afternoon when we didn't go to Edmonton for the weekend. We had some amazing times- shared a laugh or two and I will cherish our funny conversations about life in general. The last time we saw Joyce was early June 2015-- and she still remembered us (esp my little girl).Joyce's eyes lit up like a Christmas tree when she saw Sydney. We miss you lots Baba-- and you'll always be Baba in our hearts!
