Stan will be greatly missed. He was an icon in Rosalind. My children all expressed their good memories of Stan in the store. Dan enjoyed playing pool with Stan when he worked at Alberta wheat pool. We always appreciated being able to charge at the store as money wasn't always so available with a large family and if we couldn't pay the entire bill we did as soon as we were able at the end of the month. Stan had a ready smile and a calm and gentle smile. It was great to see him down at the rink watching the hockey games! As well as helping out at sports days or wherever needed :). You have had a great loss. He will forever be remembered!! Bless your precious memories of him!

We are so very sad to learn of Stan's passing. Stan was a nice man, quick to smile, good neighbour and loved having fun with his grandchildren in the backyard. So sorry for your loss Karen and the whole MacDonald clan.

Karen Ann and family, We are so sorry to hear of the loss of Stan. I know your hearts are grieving but hopefully the comfort and grace of Gods love will help ease your burden. Stan was such a kind and patient man and we have so many fond memories of him. Christmas Eve was never the same for Brent after the store was sold! I remember when we were kids and "waiting for Dad" I don't know how many time he felt sorry for us and would give us some candy to help with the wait. He has been such a good friend to Mom and Dad, he will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Karen and family..... we were surprised to hear of Stan's passing. Elaine Fossen let me (Maureen) know via Facebook. I am sorry to hear this news. He was such a gentle, kind man. Our Dad always thought so highly of his MacDonald cousins. We know you will cherish the memories and his friendly manner. Always involved with the church, the community, proud of his beautiful home and family. He will be deeply missed and we are sorry for your loss.
