I did not know Miss Diana personally-only to pass her with a quick smile in the hallway of Sparling School. My youngest daughter came home with the news today and she quite obviously cared a lot for this lovely lady. Between my little ones tears, were smiles and stories of fond moments she had shared with Miss Diana. She will be remembered lovingly and missed dearly by one Miss Ally Lorenz. ❤️

I loved Diana she was like another mom to me!! All of our therapy sessions (as I called them), laughing, crying and discussing all the world problems! Sitting in her big comfy chair with the fluffy blanket and "cat" or "Dusty" by our sides!!Shopping trips to West Ed,raking leaves, walks, coffees.... She was always there anytime I needed a shoulder to cry on!! I'm sure going to miss her, what a shock! I love you Diana My condolences you you as the family I'm sure she's going to be missed in a lot of places!!

Our sincere sympathy on the loss of your mom. Diana has been a dear friend since the Ruffington, where I admired her organization & quiet efficiency as a coworker and her talent as an artisan. I shall miss her phone calls, visits, lunches & shopping trips! Kevin even found he could easily spend an hour chatting with her on the phone! She was always happy to go to the lake with us whatever projects waited! A few years ago, she proudly started operating lawn mower tractors and was even planning on helping us shingle the cabin...until she realized that she had never been past the eaves troughs! (That was a truly funny moment and the first time I had ever seen Diana not do something she had planned to do! I think maybe it was also a surprising first for her!) Nevertheless, she kept the coffee on, the ground tidy, and the conversation stimulating! She always had an eye for things that could be done and rarely just relaxed, preferring to find a way to help. I can't believe I will not be able to just pick up the phone & talk to her again. We shall miss her so much!
