Gary, My name is Shannon Strom, I am the daughter of the late Pat Strom and the late Ron Strom. It is with my deepest sympathy, I apologize for the very sad loss of your father Jim. I knew your dad very very well, I had known your mom too. They were just wonderful people. I believe we might of met you at one time also. Years ago our dads were the best of friends..They would spend their time competing against each other in their rounds of golf, going on different golfing trips, building their own Golf Clubs which proved to be quite "intense" at times..your dad would come over and into the garage as dad had the club shaft into the vice, gluing on the wood or iron head for the club....Then that darn grip! That was the frustrating part!! And your dad would tease him and laugh, which would call down my dad and he would start to laugh. Now they can both golf nonstop in heaven together just as they did here. I will remember your dad mostly for his kind heart, his sense of humor, his laugh, and his smile. Take care Gary, Jim will be missed very much, as well as your mom.

Gary, Gwen, families... may memories of your Dad's zest for life, his smile and infectious laugh ease your loss. Your Dad could not have been kinder or more helpful to our family when we moved to Camrose with IOL in 1983. Jim will be deeply missed. Thinking of you all.
