Our deepest sympathy to all of you. Our parents were friends as long as I can remember and long before that. Henry and I enjoyed a visit with Herdis before we left last fall. It is hard to believe that it was to be the last. We will miss her.

I was saddened to learn that your Mom has passed away. Even tho' you know that she is no longer in distress, you feel the terrible loss and words cannot ease that pain. My deepest sympathies to you all! I have been thinking about you since we were visiting in the Bawlf/Daysland area earlier this week. Your family came up in conversation and were advised that Mrs. Lomness (Herta) was not doing very well. I well remember years ago of my Mom stopping in to visit with her in Bawlf in that wonderful big house on our way home from getting groceries... Also Larry and Wayne helping out Dad on our farm....the Lomness Family was an integral part of our growing up years. I know you'll miss her.
