My deepest sympathy to you Curtis, Dale and Blair. I will always remember your dad, he was always there when we played hockey as kids, always helping, laughing with us and at us... he was one of those individuals that made everyone around him become a better person...

To Dale, Blair, Curtis and families,
Understanding what it is to lose our parents you have my greatest sympathy. It is true, that it’s the happy memories that sustain us.
Uncle Joe was always a favorite of mine as a kid. I remember loving to tease him because he loved to tease me. At family gatherings at Grossmutti’s we little girls would set the table. I loved to give Uncle Joe the tea cup with the “bachelor” buttons on it as he was not married at the time. One time Mom said “Oh don’t do that we want Uncle Joe to find a ‘nice German’ girl and get married!” Mom took the cup and moved it but Grossutti put it back saying “No, no We’ll keep him home with Mutti just a bit longer”.
May you have lots of happy memories.
