I have many fond memories of Geri & Iola, Geri spent many short drives to Wetaskiwin where he made many friends at Smittys, always cheering us up with his sharp sense of humor. He is going to be truly missed. Rest in Peace Geri.

Gerry's Family
Another great Gentleman gone but not forgotten.
Gerry and I worked together for many years at the Max. He was always one of my go to guys when I needed safe and secure handling of dangerous situations.
Over the many years Gerry and I spent countless hours visiting in the MCCP control centre on midnight shifts. As a Supervisor I always felt confident when Gerry was at the helm, as he was one to keeps his eyes on the prison and monitored my patrols by giving the efficient SIX UP to all staff on duty when I was on the move.
After retirement Gerry and I went our separate ways. We spoke occasionally and I thought of him as my travels took me though or near Camrose.

To Gerry's family.

Gerry was a coworker, and long standing friend. Helping, teaching myself to navigate our work environment, always a reliable source of information. Often spending 5hrs of 8hr night shifts gabbing on the phone. You were there Gerry when I made a near fatal canine handler mistake, frozen fence, you know my thoughts about that "opsie" Never stopped the calls after his retirement. Often speaking of his lovely wife Lola, spook, all the wonderful canines we both owned. Time always eluded us when we got chatting friend about animals and life. Will miss those late evening chats, long distance bills to camrose, your wisdom. You were right, spook is in good hands friend. R. I. P. my friend.
